Overview of the 2026-2027 A Khrid Bon Dzogchen Cycle

We are excited that Tempa Dukte Lama will be offering the complete cycle of A Khrid Dzogchen teachings and transmission again this year. The Bon Dzogchen teachings are the highest teachings of Bon as they offer a means to directly recognize the true nature of the mind and attain stabilization of this recognition. This teaching series is a special opportunity to directly recognize the mind’s innate nature.

Bon has three Dzogchen lineages: A Khrid, Zhang Zhung Nyen Gyud, and Dzogchen. The A Khrid lineage is known as the experiential Dzogchen transmission. It has been transmitted without interruption from master to student over many centuries, dating back from the late His Holiness 33rd Menri Trizin to the Great Master rMe’u dGongs-mdzod Ri Khrod Chenpo (1038-1096), and before him to Tonpa Shenrab, the founding teacher of Bon. Tempa Lama received these teachings directly from the late His Holiness 33rd Menri Trizin in an extended one-on-one teaching.

Please Note: These teachings are meant to be attended in succession. Attendance of Part I, Part II & Part III are prerequisites for Part IV.

About A Khrid Part IV (Sessions 11-14): Dream Yoga and the Three Bodies

Tempa Lama will be teaching and giving the transmission on Bon Dzogchen A Khrid Part IV. Part IV encompasses sessions 11-14 from the original A Khrid teaching and transmission given by Bon Dzogchen Master Gongzod Ritrod Chenpo.

In this Part IV teaching, Tempa Lama will explain how we can utilize dreams and vision in order to practice, maintain, and deepen our practice of the natural state during both sleeping and waking. Practicing with dreams and visions offers a profound pathway towards directly self-liberating affliction and delusion as they arise in each moment. Tempa Lama will then give the introduction to the nature of the mind and the Three Bodies of the Awakened One, the truth body, enjoyment body, and emanation body.

Participants will Receive:

  • Handouts Necessary to the Teaching
